Jamun Jam is made with local black berries which bear once per year between late October to mid December. Typically we use the berries to make wine as they are quite tart and stain everything!
Tartness overload! Our Jamun is the Caribbeans’ black berry and is known by is distinct purple color. Used mainly to make wine, this fruit old folks would use to treat asthma. It is a worthy substitute for chock berry jam.
